Privacy policy
Last updated: 1 October 2026
This notice explains how we handle personal information when you browse this website or contact us about our UX, design and development services for websites and mobile apps.
Who we are
OK GO STUDIO LTD operates OK GO Studio and is the controller of the personal information we use for the purposes described here. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 14583426, with our registered office at Cheyenne House, West Street, Farnham, England, GU9 7EQ.
For privacy questions or requests, email design@okgo.studio or write to our registered office.
When you visit the website
You can browse without creating an account. This website has no contact forms, payment facilities, newsletter registration, advertising trackers or added analytics. Fonts and platform logos are served from the website itself.
Vercel hosts the website. Delivering pages and protecting the service involves processing technical information such as IP addresses, browser and device details, requested pages, request times and diagnostic or security records. Where we use this information, we rely on our legitimate interests in maintaining a reliable service, investigating faults and preventing misuse. Vercel also processes some service-generated information for its own purposes as described in its privacy notice.
When you contact us
If you email, telephone or write to us, we receive the information you provide, such as your name, business, contact details, project requirements and correspondence. We use this to answer questions, discuss potential work and prepare proposals. Providing this information is voluntary, but without relevant contact or project details we may not be able to respond or prepare a proposal. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information or other people’s data unless it is necessary.
For general enquiries and communications with someone representing a business, our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in handling enquiries and developing business relationships. If you ask us to take steps towards a contract with you personally, we rely on taking those steps at your request. Where we must keep records or respond to a legal request, we rely on the relevant legal obligation.
This notice covers website use and initial enquiries. If a project involves research participants, client systems or other personal data, the project may need additional privacy information and a data-processing agreement before that work starts.
Cookies and similar technologies
The website application does not set cookies or use local storage or session storage for analytics, advertising or preferences. Hosting infrastructure may use essential security technologies to protect and deliver the service. Your browser also caches website files as part of normal browsing.
We will review this notice and provide any required choices or consent controls before introducing optional tracking or embedded services. There is currently no optional tracking to accept or reject.
Who receives information
Our hosting and infrastructure providers process technical data. Our email and communications providers process messages you send us. Professional advisers or authorities may receive relevant information where needed to meet a legal obligation, resolve a dispute or protect legal rights. We limit sharing to what is needed for the relevant purpose; we do not sell personal information.
Processing outside the UK
Vercel operates internationally, including in the United States. Hosting information may therefore be processed outside the UK. Email and communications services may also process information internationally. The protections that apply depend on the provider and service, including UK-recognised adequacy arrangements or approved contractual safeguards where applicable. Vercel publishes its arrangements in its privacy notice and data-processing terms. Contact us for details of the safeguards relevant to your information and how to obtain a copy.
How long we keep information
The website application does not maintain a visitor database. Hosting logs follow the provider’s service and security retention settings. Any incident information we retain is assessed against the time needed to investigate the incident and any related legal requirements.
We retain enquiry correspondence while dealing with your request and for a proportionate period afterwards. When deciding when to delete it, we consider whether discussions are ongoing, whether work has been commissioned, whether a complaint or claim remains unresolved, and any accounting or other record-keeping obligation. An enquiry that leads to a project may become part of the project record. We do not retain information simply in case it might be useful indefinitely.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to see your information, correct it, have it deleted, restrict its use or receive it in a portable format. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. These rights have legal conditions and exceptions. If we rely on consent for any future processing, you can withdraw that consent without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
We do not use your information for solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Send rights requests or privacy complaints to design@okgo.studio. We may ask for proportionate information to establish your identity. We normally respond to rights requests within one month, subject to extensions or pauses allowed by law, which we will explain if applicable.
You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). You do not have to contact us first, although we welcome the opportunity to address concerns.
Links and changes
External websites have their own privacy arrangements. This notice applies to the OK GO Studio website and the enquiries described above. We will update it if our services or data use change; the date at the top shows the latest revision.
